problem icloud with Sonoma

hello. Since Sonoma 14.0 is installed on my Macbook Air, impossible to make a file search in Documents. the wheel turns indefinitely saying "loading". but nothing loads. anyone can help. thank you

Unable to turn on iCloud desktop and documents I just received a new to me Macbook Pro M1 and I am struggling to get my desktop items and folders to appear. I try to turn on Desktop & Documents folders but then it just spins. If I click done and then go back in its turned off again. When I click on the iCloud drive ? icon in Finder it shows downloading 1 item 0 of 1 byte. I've tried restarting, signing out and signing back into iCloud. Attached is an image of whats going on.

Cannot open documents on iCloud Drive after recent update, Sonoma 14 I updated my Mac 2 days ago and now when I open iCloud Drive I can only see some very old documents. The other documents are visible in the finder but when I try to open them it says "loading" yet it never seems to finish loading and no documents appear. Previously I was able to open and download documents but now I cannot open them at all.

I am, running Venture 13.6.7 on my desktop Mac. Whenever I try to connect to iCloud there are problems with synching and downloading files; this can take a long time. I consequently causes issues when trying to update PDF files within Preview. Running Ventura 13.6.7 on my Mac desktop, and I have issues with synching with iCloud. It takes a long time for to synch, to the point where it is impractical to edit documents in Pages, Numbers, etc and Preview without the system getting stuck in synchronisation mode. Has anyone had a similar issue and is there a solution? I have checked for software updates for this Mac and it informs me that the operating system is up to date!

Hi! I went through 3 weeks of having a good amount of problems with both my machines since the Sonoma upgrade, from ICloud sync issues to the trackpads not functioning. After talking with Apple support, I learned that certain 3rd party apps can make the Macs behave completely crazy. Particularly VPNs and firewalls. I have removed the VPN and it seems like both my machines are getting back to normal. Test out, remove some of your apps and see if it helps...
