Books iCloud Cache

The last round of updates resurrected what I assume is a Books cache in iCloud.

When I sync my Books on my Mac with my iPad or iPhone, it now gives me a warning that certain books cannot be synced because they cannot be found.

When I saved the error file, it contained a long list of audiobooks that I deleted so long ago that meantime I changed my iPhone, and clean installed my Mac.

They are not visible in the manage iCloud list and they are not in the Books folder.

Any ideas on how to get delete these phantom files?

The books sync between my Macbook and iPhone without an issue. I was trying to find the downloaded epub files (~/Library/Containers/com.apple.BKAgentService/Data/Documents/iBooks), but when I get there, the Books folder is empty. I checked my Books account, and to my surprise, it shows like I have no books in it (picture attached). Both my Mac and iPhone use the same iCloud account, so I don't know why this is happenning. Why are there two Apple Book files shown in my iCloud storage and can I delete one of them? Hi all, I have the same issue as per this earlier thread which didn't have any reply yet. I want to resurrect this and ask the community if anyone has any similar issue? All my devices are up to date incl my MacBook Pro 16 inch 2023 M2, iPad Air 1st gen, iPhone 13 Pro and they are running the latest OS versions as of today. Unable to find my Books EPUB files on iPhone. I have a number of books on my iPhone (iphone 11, iOS 17). I cannot find the files. I see lots of folks seem to have this problem. My issue is I do not have a Mac computer. All I have is my iPhone and my iCloud account. The files are in neither of these locations. I do know the file is somewhere because Books regulalrly deletes the books (even though I have plenty of cloud storage), and I have to redownload them. Most of the books have not been bought through the Apple bookstore, so I cannot check there. Any suggestions Apple community? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
