how to update my safari?

We're seeing quite a few of these questions in the discussion forums...almost all of them are from Chase bank customers.

You didn't say what model Mac you have, or what MacOS you're running. Safari is updated when the MacOS is updated...there are (typically) no Safari updates in between MacOS updates.

The above being said, there are alternative web browsers you can use:

• Google Chrome
• Firefox
• Brave
• DuckDuckGo

I suspect that using one of the above alternative web browsers will allow you use of the website(s).

This is exactly what has happened to me. I can't pay any Chase bills with Safari. I'm sure that apple can do something about this. I don't want to use another browser.

While it's possible Apple can do something, I think the responsibility lies with Chase Bank, as theirs is the only website I'm aware of that's doing this to its users.
