is this a potential 'flexgate' issue on my mac air m1?

you can see the little dent on the flex cable. i still have 5 months warranty left. what should i do?

Apple store "genius bar" admitted it was a manufacturing fault but refused to repair it free of charge. Also admitted that the "long bow" model was a joke. There's a repair program for other Mac models with same issue, but not this one. I only switched to apple for their reliability, but now my $3k laptop is set to cost me another $1k in repairs. Flexgate problem on MacBook Air M1 My MAC air m1 is blacking out display after opening the lid to certain angle and I’m out of warranty like 2 Months exceeding.. anyways I can get this done or any free program available for the same .. I just don’t feel like paying huge amount for a design flaw because I’m relating to the symptoms of damaged flexgate .. please help with this

Horizontal Lines started appearing on my Mac suddenly. I have M1 Macbook air from 2021. It was working really well till yesterday. Suddenly 1 small horizontal line appeared and then after every few hours it is getting worse. It looks like its FLEXGATE for M1 Mac. I went through couple of posts on reddit and apple community forums. A lot of people are facing similar issues. Does anyone know how to fix it? Any suggestion would be helpful. PS: I didn't expect such bad quality from apple and I am really disappointed that even when so many people have faced this issue the problem still persists and they don't have any service program or support for the same!
