Backlight dimming

Why does my iPhone 13 Pro keep dimming after it’s not used for any length of time? In other words, the phone power is on but it’s “resting” so the screen light is off. But when I pick it up to use it the backlight screen is dimmer than when I turned it off….. How can I change that? All the settings are off or adjusted already. Please help!!!!

What can cause my Iphone 13 Pro Max To be Dim? So i’ve had this phone for 2 weeks, since I updated the ios system my phone became dim, yellowish color filter, auto brightness and everything else is off, when the phone is about to lock it fixes it self, but when you turn it back on its dim and yellowish again.. Help?
