Apple TV sound always muted, when first switched on
It’s not a serious problem, just annoying. Can I adjust a setting to ensure sound comes on when it is switched on?

You are not alone in having sound issues with your Apple TV… especially for those who just did the 17.1 update. There must be a terrible bug or a glitch in the new version that has yet to be fixed. If your problem is an old problem, some have fixed issues with vol showing all the time, or not showing at all, via SETTINGS/DISPLAY. Some have had an instant fix when changing that setting. The majority of others have had multiple problems just since the 17.0/17.1 update.
