iPhone ProRes clips don't create dropzone thumbnails

When choosing media for a title dropzone, ProRes footage from iPhone 15 doesn't automatically create a thumbnail in the image well in the inspector panel...

Other media will - but all the ProRes LOG footage I'm trying just leaves the image well blank - showing an 'x' next to the empty thumbnail.

It doesn't matter how many ProRes clips I try, it doesn't populate the thumbnail - UNTIL I click on any non ProRes clip, which then creates a thumbnail.. then immediately clicking any ProRes media correctly adds a thumbnail to the image well..

It just won't create a thumbnail for ProRes media until you've selected a non-ProRes clip first..

Tested in 10.6.8 and 10.6.10

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.6

Hmm.. Ok - I've just done a bit more testing..

The clips I've been trying were all filmed using Filmic Pro v7 in 422 HQ.

I tried using the native Camera app on the phone, and those clips, recorded in 422 Prores LOG do show a thumbnail when added to the dropzone.. so the Apple files do work...

But the Filmic Pro ones don't (I also tried 422 as well as the 422 HQ)

Thinking it might be a bug with Filmic Pro instead, I then tried the BlackMagic Camera app, again - recording in 422 AND 422 HQ..

They don't create a thumbnail either...

I have also just tried saving from Filmic Pro in ProRes 709 422HQ - and that didn't create a thumbnail either.

So I can't rule out an Apple API issue or third party bugs - but two different developers with the same problem?
