creating a pivot table in numbers

i am looking to try and replicate a pivot table from excel in numbers. I have 500 rows which are made up of varying (around 20) different topics. 2 of them have a duration column. I want to combine the different topics and then calculate the total duration (in time) of a selected number of rows
