Iphone Lock Screen

With the new update iOS17, I normally rest my phone on it's side and when I need to unlock it, I swipe and we're good to go but they changed something where it's now photos and swipes between the photo categories. How do I get rid of these ridiculous feature?

My phone is locked, I want it locked.

Can't customize iPhone lock screen after iOS 16 update After updating to iOS 16 there does not appear to be any way to edit the default Lock Screen. There should be a way to change the photo. Yes, once you create a new Lock Screen then you can ignore the original default Lock Screen, but you cannot remove it. Seems odd. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

To unlock your iPhone, follow the steps described in the Apple article:

(< iOS 15.2) -> If you forgot your iPhone passcode

If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support

If you don't have a computer and you can't borrow one, you need to go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider for help.

(iOS 15.2 and newer) you don’t need to have a computer -> If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen

Temporarily use your old passcode when you forget your new passcode on iPhone or iPad
