PhotosLibrary.photoslibrary

Hi,

I've spent the day cleaning up files, folders and deleting & filing. Then, I emptied the 'trash'. My PhotosLibrary.photoslibrary is now My Photos App is empty. I guess my Photos Library was in the trash?? Has any body had this issue and knows how to repair it? I guess my Photos Library was in the trash??

Full Mooooon today! Thanks, Linda

You can only recover items from the Trash for thirty days, as long as you do not empty the Trash.

Emptying the Trash or "recently Deleted" in Photos will delete the items permanently. Then you need to use the backups you made to recover your accidentally deleted items.

As you have been using iCloud Photos your best bet would be to enable iCloud Photos for the new, empty Photos Library and wait for the photos to come back from iCloud Photos. This will bring back all photos that you did not delete in Photos for Mac.
