There’s something wrong with my iPad’s storage

I downloaded an app and I underestimated the space I needed, and when the download was almost done it said I didn’t have enough space. After that I realized my iPad couldn’t handle the app so I quickly deleted it. But after checking my settings it was still at 61 gbs and the app shown in the storage list. Something similar happened before but after deleting something small, restarting, and reopening settings it was back to normal. But in this case I’ve already done all that but the number isn’t going down. It’s supposed to be maybe around 46 after deleting but I’m not seeing that, what should I do?
