iOS 17.1

I just upgraded the software for my iPhone mini 12 to iOS 17.1. It’s been a disaster ever since. My phone keeps crashing, I lost contacts and my exchange email doesn’t work anymore. I am not getting any new emails. I wish I could go back to the version I had before, but I don’t know how. If there are any suggestions, I’d appreciate it.

Troubleshooting Overheating iPhone After iOS17 Update:

A. Downgrading the iOS:

Unfortunately, the iOS cannot be downgraded to a lower version. So, you only option, when it comes to restoring from an iPhone backup, is to restore from on that is of the same iOS version.

b. Report this to Apple...

Overeating iPhone and draining iPhone batteries are a well-known issues. Power is a big concern for iPhone series compatible with iOS 17. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported this to Apple?"

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

iOS 17.11 is abominable! The call screen has not only moved all buttons to bottom
of screen they have scrambled them to different places making it less efficient& user friendly. Like someone thought they should do something trendy and ruin the streamline Apple experience. The contacts & email senders take up 2/3 of the screen. Zero privacy!

If there is a way to revert to prior format; I would like to!

No, there is not.
