Troubleshooting an iCloud that Won't Go Away:

A. Provide the File Type::

This is apparently nothing of a shortcut. It appears to be a file in-full. So, Right-Click: on the file > Select: Get Info > What do you see of a file-type? Is it an Application?

B. Use the Trash:

So, Drag & Drop it to the Trash. Then, empty from the trash.

C. Create a New Desktop:

Scrolling your cursor to the top, click on the plus on the far-right. Does that rid of this

D. Restart your Mac:

Having performed any of the above, does it them come back?

A Bit On this, for you;

From what you can see, this is a volume. It reads “macOS Extended”, which is a format. That format is not for Silicon processors (2020 and after Macs). It was stored in Downloads, and you (as a user) have “Read & Write“ permissions. So, it was movable by you but, but a restart is required to get it to show where it was moved to(officially a refresh, as if you were to restart your computer after an update has been installed). You are set from here!
