how many AirTags can you connect to one phone?

Is there a limit to how many AirTags you can link to an iPhone 15 pro?

I think it may be 12

You can have up to 16 AirTags per Apple ID ... so, in theory, you should be able to pair 16 of them to an iPhone with that ID.
