Can't connect to 3 external displays

Hi, I've a MacBook Pro 14-inch 2021, with Ventura 13.4, and I can't connect to 3 external displays, only 2 are working at the same time. The monitors are Full-HD, not 4K. The connections are HDMI (one direct), and the other 2 via adapters (I've tried several adapters). In tech specs MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021) - Technical Specifications (UK) it says:

Display Support

Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display at 1 billion colors and:

  • Up to two external displays with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz at over a billion colors (M1 Pro) or
  • Up to three external displays with up to 6K resolution and one external display with up to 4K resolution at 60Hz at over a billion colors (M1 Max)

Thunderbolt 4 digital video output

  • Native DisplayPort output over USB‑C
  • VGA, HDMI, DVI, and Thunderbolt 2 output supported using adapters (sold separately)

HDMI digital video output

  • Support for one display with up to 4K resolution at 60Hz
  • DVI output using HDMI to DVI Adapter (sold separately)

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks !!

All 14-in M1 MacBook Pros feature the PRO processor. You appear to be reading the M1 Max specs as if they applied to the M1 Pro models. They do not.

You have underlined the specs for the MAX processor. The ones that apply to your model are the ones for the PRO processor.

When examined in the specs of currently-for-sale models, the specs for M2 Pro and M1 Max are shown on the same page. In the tech specs you cited, it appears the M1 Max specs were never correctly edited out as they should have been.

Feel free to let Apple know their spec is wrong:

Depending on what sort of data you are displaying, there may be solutions that are far short of full-motion video that could be useful.

For example, it you are looking at program listings, spreadsheets, stock quotes or other relatively slow-to-change data (but NOT Video editing or game playing) you could use a 'fake' display that gets the data updated much more slowly, fast enough for those sorts of uses.
