Is there an option for drag lock while using a mouse or trackball? Using macos Sonoma, on an iMac. I see the option in system settings, but it's only for a trackpad. I use a track ball with two buttons, was hoping there was an option to drag an item or drag the cursor after holding down the main button for a second or two. In windows it's called ClickLock.

Steermouse might do the trick. There's a free trial, I think.

Unfortunately, Steermouse would only work with a trackball that has an extra button for the click lock feature. But, I did see there is a Voice control option to click drag. Been trying it out, it should work.
Unfortunately all I can find is Drag Lock, it only seems to work with trackpads. There are a couple of third-party applications for mouse control, but I hate to try one without knowing first that it's going to do what I need.
I don't have a Mac handy, but there might be an Accessibility feature that could help?

I tried to steermouse, Downloaded the program, as I was installing I received a message that my 30 day trial. had ended...No ability to try out the program before purchasing. I sent them an email message (no phone support, I don't recall if they had robot chat, but I don't discuss software with robots). So disappointing.
