Borderless printing

I would like to print a keynote presentation exactly the way I created it, i.e. without any white borders.

I tried 2 options:

  1. File > Print in Keynote > Papersize A4 Paperless
  2. Export as pdf

Both options resulted in a white border printed on the left and right side of the presentation.

What am I doing wrong? My Macbook currently operates on macOS Sonoma 14.0.

Thx for suggestions how to solve the issue.

Thanks Gary Scotland, very helpful and it did indeed solve my problem, thanks a million!

My Epson ET-2750 Series does borderless printing and I managed to get that by following your suggestions:

1- Change Keynotes slide size:

Document > Document tab > Slide size > Custom Slide Size > Width 3508 pts (was 1024 pts before), Height (was 768 pts before)

2- Set printer to borderless printing:

Print Menu > Page Attributes > Paper Size > A4 Borderless

There is an additional option in Paper Handling which I did, however, not need:

Paper Handling > Scale To Fit Paper Size: on + Destination Paper Size: A4 Borderless
