My Mac Book Pro 13 inch bought in 2020 has started to make a bell chime, I don't really know what triggers it, I have googled the problem and someone mentioned its the battery charger? but the charger is not plugged in and it still does it.

A SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
login and test, reboot as normal and test...

No it doesn't sound like a charing chime (at least I don't think), I have never had a charging chime on this Mac at all and I am unsure what that sound like. It is very loud, so loud I didn't even realise it was coming from the laptop initially. It sounds like a bell you would find in a counter that you ring to get someones attention.
