How to provide a custom background colour for pictures in macOS?

Hello community!

I want to change the background colour when viewing images. There are some preset colours as well as ability to change them to any colour in the colour spectrum. Often, it is much easier to simply type in the hex code of the colour we want to make it an exact match to the requirement. Unfortunately, the option to add the hex code is missing in colour settings. Even more unfortunately, the 3rd party apps I use (qView, XNview, etc.) also use this system setting only:

Is there a way to add a custom hex code?

Thanks.

Choose the RGB Sliders icon and type in the Hex code.
