Why is my macOS Sonoma screen saver yellow?

I am pretty sure I have my screen saver configured correctly, and I chose 'Europe Night'. However, every time my iMac goes into screen saver mode, it gives a yellow screen instead of the screen saver. The same case happens even in preview mode.

However, it functions perfectly fine on my MacBook Air M1.

Is anyone experiencing similar issues?

I suspect this might be some OS-related issues. I tried using still images but it still gives a yellow screen.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 14.0

First, you should update to Sonoma 14.1 if you haven't already. Which iMac do you have?

Just a final word. You will see a yellow screen if a particular screensaver has not downloaded.

Same issue. Screen Saver had been set/working fine w/ Shuffle Landscape since Sonoma release, but now it's suddenly a full yellow screen.

Same issue w/ single Landscape, Cityscape,... previews and macOS Sonoma SS, yet the Ventura SS works.

Mac mini M2 & Studio Display.

My screen saver is yellow!! For a while I got The Sonoma photo but sometimes the screen would go yellow and not go to the phot. Now after fiddling with the controls for wallpaper and show on all spaces, both on, it is just yellow. Nothing works!

went to wall paper and changed that back to the galaxy photo which got turned off for some reason, but there is still aproblem with the screen saver not appearing anymore, just yellow. Sonoma photo is built in and works but not now....
