Desktop on Sonoma not working?
I seem to be having some unusual behavior with my desktop on Sonoma, I am unable to see any files that are on my desktop while viewing my desktop. I know they are not hidden files as I can drop and drag new files to the desktop but as I drop them to the desktop they disappear. I can see all my files on the folder /desktop/ in finder and perform the normal, rename, move, arrange, delete files in finder in /desktop/ even when finder is open on the desktop itself I see no files behind the window. I cannot click and drag to select or right click to create new folder or view any desktop function that would be typical with the desktop.
I have tired booting into safe mode, and a restart, and other monitors and no monitor.
The weird thing is when I do Command-shift-F3 I can see the files but normal Mission Control shows them still hidden...
