I am not able to add another card to Apple Pay. Says the region is wtong

I am in my bank trying to add my new credit card to digital wallet, and when I go through the Apple Pay, it tells me I cannot add the card because the region is wrong

iPhone 13, iOS 17

Open Settings ➢ General ➢ Language & Region ➢ Region.

Now you can review or edit your region. 🌐
