I downloaded the new macos Sonoma and now when I get into my silhouette app on my computer, the designs all look like a glitch. I have tried restarting my Mac in recovery mode and tried to downgrade to Ventura again, but said I couldn’t do it, then now it only gives me option to download sonoma, although my computer already has Sonoma.
Looks like it is a known software problem with Silhouette (https://silhouetteamerica.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/35000231208-distorted-red-line-display-in-silhouette-studio-sonoma-). I downgraded back to Ventura, but it is a fairly technical process. Lots of views about how to do this on the web.

There are ways to downgrade to a pervious version of macOS but it is not recommend.
Perhaps following a previous link and downgrading to version 4.4.554. of the Application, may give the Developers time to fix the compatible issue
Same thing happened to me. I tired to figure out how to do it on my own and ended wiping it. I did save all my files though! But I still ended up with Sonoma so I took it to the genius bar and they downgraded it. But I think they can downgrade before you wipe. And Silhouette works no problem!!
I found this link and the Silhouette recommendation after already performing the downgrade. I would agree with you (downgrade is not recommended) - the downgrade process requires one to erase their hard drive and rebuild from scratch. Not for the faint or heart or someone without moderate technical skills and good confidence in their backup and recovery process (IMO).
