Unable to download iOS 17

Hi! I downloaded iOS 17 beta, which I realize should not have done. I have turned off beta updates since then. Now when trying to update to iOS 17.1 it says that it’s unable to download. It doesn’t even give me the option to try and download.

I have an iPhone 13 mini, and I have tried to reset network settings.

I keep getting notifications that I need to update my phone but it will not let me.

any advice?

I’ve never downloaded beta, but over the past year I’ve been dealing with malware. What has helped me in some situations where I am struggling to do some simple task is (1) close all open pages by swiping up from the bottom of each page (2) go to settings-Safari-scroll down and delete ALL history and data. For safe measure, I always choose to close the web pages. If you use other browsers, do the same for those. (3) Reboot your device. Also, I do these updates on cellular data. If you choose to use cellular, turn off auto join managed networks in the WiFi section.

Hopefully this will help.

What model is your phone? What happens when you try?

Can you post a screenshot of the whole screen, it could reveal why you aren't able to update.

Make sure you:

• Are using a WiFi connection (not a hotspot).

• You have an active cell signal (You need both WiFi and cellular service to perform the upgrade).

• Are not using a VPN connection.

• Have your battery charged at least 50%. Better yet, keep it plugged in during the update.

• Do not have power save mode turned on.

• Do not have a beta version installed.

• You have at least 10 gigs of storage available.
