changing/updating apple ID
I need to change/update my email address which is my apple ID. If I sign out of my iPhone will l lose any of my photos even if it is backed up on iCloud?
Here's how you change the email address (Apple ID) you use for your Apple Account while retaining everything in your account. You do not need to sign out to do this and even if you did, you wouldn't lose items unless you told it to delete them.:
1. Go to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in.
2. In the Sign-In and Security section, choose Apple ID.
3. Enter the email address that you want to use as your Apple ID.
4. Choose Change Apple ID.
