Dear Apple Customer Support Team,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to seek your assistance regarding a remote management restriction issue that I am facing with my MacBook. I have attempted to resolve this matter with Red Ventures LCC Customer Support Team, but unfortunately, they have not responded to my inquiries, leaving me in a challenging situation.

The MacBook in question was purchased from an eBay Auction, and it was brought to my attention that the MacBook had previously been acquired from a Red Ventures Auction. While I understand the need for security measures, the remote management restriction is preventing me from fully utilizing the device for personal and professional purposes.

I have made multiple attempts to contact Red Ventures LCC Customer Support Team in the hopes of resolving this issue. However, their lack of response has left me with no choice but to turn to Apple for assistance.

I kindly request your help in addressing the remote management restriction on my MacBook. I am more than willing to provide any necessary documentation, proof of purchase, and information to verify the authenticity of the device and its acquisition history. I understand the importance of maintaining security measures, but I am the rightful owner of the MacBook and should have the ability to use it without any restrictions.

I kindly ask that you review my case and provide guidance on how to resolve this issue. Any assistance you can offer in this matter would be greatly appreciated. My aim is to regain full access to my MacBook without any further hindrances.

I can be reached at [Your Phone Number] or [Your Email Address] at your convenience. I look forward to your prompt response and guidance in resolving this matter. Your expertise and support in this situation would be of immense help, and I am confident that Apple can help me navigate this issue effectively.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I hope for a swift resolution that will enable me to use my MacBook as intended.

Sincerely,

Mwale Mumba

Hello, my friend.

It's unfortunate that you find yourself in this position with this MacBook.

FYI - these Apple Communities forums are user-only, peer-to-peer support forums. You are not speaking to Apple here and we understand Apple don’t actively participate here.

Your proof of purchase of the MacBook from an eBay auction may not be enough to elicit a favorable response from Apple. But if you were given a copy of the original retail receipt with the computer, that would be the proof of ownership you'll need. After all, there is nothing to prohibit one from selling a stolen computer on eBay.

Your best action will be to reach out to the seller and ask to return the MacBook for a refund.

Consider this a perfect example of why never to buy a Mac on eBay, or any other auction. Only buy direct from Apple or an established Apple partner like Best Buy. And if budget is an issue, consider buying factory refurbished from Apple or properly prepared pre-owned from the likes of macsales.com.

I wish you luck in finding a positive resolution in this case. 🍀
