My IPhone 7 is locked and says iPhone unavailable should I click on the Erase IPhone at the bottom of the iPhone screen to restart or take it to an apple Store?

If the phone is displaying an Unavailable message and there is an Erase option at the bottom of the screen, then the user can use the support document linked just below, which does not require the use of a computer.
