How to temporary disable push notifications

Hello. I am using Iphone 12.

While I am using my phone I would like to be a le to temporary disable the push notifications because I am trying to focus an what I am doing and it's covering the upper part of my screen.

It doesn't help if I swipe the notifications up to make them go away because they just keep on coming without any delay.

Is there a way for me to configure that when I for example swipe 2 notifications up in a very short period of time they will be silenced for a while? So I can continue what I was doing without them interfering
