Starbucks e-gift card received, but not working

How do I actually use an e-gift card from Starbucks I received from iMessage? I have an iPhone 14 pro. The message & card are there and it says tap to use it, but nothing happens when I do.

There are a ton of questions on sending these cards thru iMessage but not a lot of info about using one received in iMessage. It shouldn’t be this hard but it’s just not working.

You need to contact Starbucks and ask them how & where you can use their e-gift card.
