How do I delete photos from iPad without removing them from iPhone

I deleted photos from my iPad one time and it deleted photos on my iPhone to, would like to remove photos from the iPad only.

If you have enabled iCloud Photos for both your iPad and iPhone, deletions will be replicated between devices.


To change this behaviour, you will need to disable iCloud Photos on your iPad - or both devices:

Settings > [Your Name / AppleID] > iCloud > Photos > Sync This iPad | iPhone - set OFF


Having disabled iCloud Photos, you can delete photos from your iPad without affecting your iPhone.
