after installing Sonoma I keep getting a malware notice for "FreeDataSearchDaemon" which I deleted. But the notice reappears each time I delete it. The notice offers to show it in the Finder but doesn't, It just keeps the same notification and reappear

System Settings > Login Items > disable/delete all the background apps there and restart your Mac. Check, if that stops this daemon.

Check this location in Safari...
Safari > Settings > Websites. Then click on Notifications on the left side panel list.
Click Remove for any items listed in that Notifications windows.
Where do the notifications show up? At startup?
If so, you didn't uninstall all of it.
No effect. I don't use Safari either. This is not a browser issue. It started with the install of the ios upgrade
