Swiping between Watch faces on WatchOS 10

I am sad to learn that since WatchOS 10 , I can no longer simply swipe between watch faces.

I used to have several watch faces and used to switch between them through the horizontal swipe gesture. eg. A digital face and an Analog face.

Since I upgraded to watchOS 10, I found that I have to long press, then swipe to change face.

This seems like a step back to me on an action that was easier to accomplish with the previous OS version.

If enough people complain, perhaps Apple can make this an option.

I can only guess that Apple made this change because it was too easy to change the watch face and a lot of people were complaining that the watch face was inadvertently being changed. (Perhaps with a sleeve rubbing against the watch.)

Apple seems to keep taking steps backwards with the Apple Watch. How frustrating.
