nothing is transferring to my iCloud

Hi,

major issue in my opinion with the 14. By the way this will be the second one that I am exchanging because it’s been decided by the forces that are in charge that is a defective product. That’s two iPhone 14 in a row, yikes!

here’s the problem, my Files app 4000 Files, mostly Photos but there are important documents there too. I have iCloud backup iCloud+ syncing Photos sync I have everything turned on and only 13 photos which are in my photo library and not my Files app have transferred. Now I get Photos sync being a Photos app thing only I assume, but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to get my Files app empty and have all that content in my iCloud. I have highlighted the folder I have selected all I have tried to share I have copied and tried to go into the iCloud and dropped them there and nothing works. Apple support has not found an answer and has just hung up on me after sitting there doing a screen share and offering no information or insight. Right now I’m pretty furious with Apple but that doesn’t matter I was hoping somebody in the community could please just answer that question which is, how do I take the contents of the Files app on my iPhone 14 and make sure that they go to my iCloud? because right now in my iCloud that I am paying extra money for the more space with iCloud+ there are only 13 photos and those were photos from the photo app nothing from the Files app will go in there. Is there a reason for that? I’m sure there is and I’m sure I’m missing something but my belief is that this is just a buggy phone . Please correct me. I’m literally begging for help the documents that are there are quite important there is no computer set up right now it’s just my phone I’m rebuilding a lot of things for my business and these photos are for the most part actually part of the business. thank you in advance for anyone that answers, I apologize if anything I’ve written here as offensive I don’t mean it to be. I’m just extremely ****** thank you very much anyone and everyone!

Firstly you have proved there is no problem with the phone, as getting two new phones with the same problem has almost zero probability.

Fundamentally:

Firstly turn on iCloud Drive in

iPhone Settings, [your name], iCloud,

Secondly in Files app, Browse, you should now be able to see the iCloud Drive and the On My Phone sections.

It is a matter of selecting items in On My Phone and tapping the folder icon at the bottom and then moving to the icloud Drive section and dropping them there, with copy at top RH.

As you used copy you will have to delete them from the On My Phone section later.

With the individual photos tap the share icon and Save to Photos.

You can turn on iCloud Photos in the iCloud settings if you wish, your choice.

Yes it will take you a while

Try searching for icloud drive and icloud photos in Google using the prefix…
