I bought a new iphone (3rd gen. 2022 SE) yesterday replacing my totally damaged iphone 8 and cant seem to restore my old phone onto this new one.

Hi. I did this 5 years ago just fine when I bought my iphone 8 replacing whatever iphone that I owned at the time (i think the old SE). I think I remember going into iTunes and choosing one of the backups and loaded it all on my new phone. Worked just fine.

But this time? I can't seem to figure it out. I guess iTunes doesnt exist anymore (the name)? It's called Music now? Anyway, I know for a fact that in the last year I've backed up my iphone (the iphone 8 that is now totally damaged) a couple of times to my 4 year old MacBook Air. I dont use iCloud btw. But it's showing no backups anywhere now that I'm attempting to load everything into my new phone. Unless I'm just looking in the wrong place?? It seems there is no record of any previous backups, but this makes no sense, I know I have.
