iCloud backing up keyboard with Chinese Japanese language, why
November 1, 2023 Greetings, I have questions, as to why my personal iPhone is backing up a keyboard to Chinese Japanese language it has 2.7 MB. If I would not have gone all the way through my iCloud storage to see what my back up was backing up I would’ve NEVER found this.
Why are we all allowing this to happen and the questionable ridiculous answers we all except!
Someone in the community named “soham84” left an answer with the Apple community stating Apple’s native language is Chinese/Japanese. Please, have a look and see what he says. Apple told him Tom found him helpful ha ha .
I would like to ask Soham 84 who has absolutely no profile…..
Is this because the Chinese make our iPhones for Apple?
The language of Apple is Swift Swift - Resources - Apple Developer mentions nothing of Chinese. Whether it be a person place or thing
Therefore why is An English-speaking US citizen’s personal private, secured, iCloud back up any keyboard, much less a keyboard for the Chinese Japanese language being backed up !?
Apple iPhone has keyboards in many languages! Why is only the Chinese Japanese keyboard being backed up?
Oh, of course I’m not important enough that they would want to track me, right? Just like the TikTok, they wouldn’t wanna watch & learn from me or about me .right?
Please think about this…, with a new age of AI, collecting all the data from keyboards and TikTok, they could emulate any one of us at any time of our life.

this link from apple.com provided me information about languages on keyboards for my phone are hundreds but check out the idiom support for my keyboard, which I found on this link.
Idiom dictionary supportSimplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese – English, Cantonese – English
An idiom is a phrase that, when taken as a whole, has a meaning you wouldn’t be able to deduce from the meanings of the individual words. It’s essentially the verbal equivalent of using the wrong math formula but still getting the correct answer
Are there are no other cultures/ languages that would need an idiom explained other than Chinese or Japanese?
Once, again, with all the other languages provided for a keyboard why only Chinese back up why only Chinese idiom support
Oh, I forgot they added Japanese to the keyboard just to throw us off because the Chinese, Japanese two different different languages, two different keyboards like duh?
Why would my iCloud need to back up fmy keyboard for idioms to the Chinese?
