iPhone 15 echo on speaker

Me too. New 15 pro max creates echo for numerous callers when I am on speaker. When not on speaker, no echo. Fix this, otherwise the speaker function is not an option.

My brand new 15 pro is 2 days old, without a case and the first to callers i was talking to over speaker told me that they are hearing themself. Only if i turn down the volume so I can’t hear them properly they told me it’s better.

after searching the net i Found a hint that i can’t believe „turn your phone faceside down“ and after trying it worked 🤷🏼

it whorked WHILE i‘m on the phone. When i hold the phone in my hands, the other Person tells me it echoes, when i flip it faceside down to the desk or the Couch it’s gone.

what is that?! Please fix that.

My new iPhone 15 Pro Max speaker option is making my life miserable. People can’t hear me over the echoing when I have it on speaker. Turn speaker off and they can hear, but, then I have to type one handed. Not optional for me! I do have in outer box because my phone gets dropped numerous times a day. The outer box I wanted won’t be here until March 22 so I ordered this one to protect my phone till the other comes in. Sure hope the new outer works better when speaker is on. I’ve always had outer boxes and have never had an issue. Hope I don’t have to choose between an outer box (so my phone doesn’t get broken) or the speaker option!

Wow, removed the otter cover and no echo!!!! back to my cheap rubber cover. My customers i talk with all day thank you.

After purchasing iPhone 15 Pro Max I now have a 2nd outer box that people can only hear echoing when I call or answer my phone. My phone is constantly being dropped so I have to have a hard outer covering to protect it. I thought using my AirPods Pro or OpenRun Pro by Shokz would work when I needed two hands-like when driving or needing to type. Oh no, people couldn't even tell there was anyone else on the line. The other person keep saying "if there is someone there I can't hear you!" Total disappointment in this phone. I have been an iPhone user since iPhone 4 came out and have had an outer box on every phone and there has never been an issue. Feel like I have wasted $1200. Will be calling Apple to see if I can return this piece of .#*@##.

Arranged for a call from Apple Support using the app and the person I spoke with suggested it was my phone’s protective cover.

I removed the cover (it was not an Apple cover but an Otter Box) and the problem resolved itself.
