FCP Video. How to set field of view in exported file?

Reposting a previous unaswered question:

I am editing a 360 video in FCPX (v10.4.8). I am able to reorient the clip in the Tilt(X), Pan(Y) & Roll(Z) axes using key frames, but unable to change the FOV (field of view) using keyframes when outputting the clip.

I am able to drag the FOV slider to preview the clip inside FCP. However, when exporting the file, it seems to always choose a default FOV.

Is there a way to change FOV of the video in the exported 360 video file?

10.6.10 is the latest version of FCP.

Is this a 360° project inside a standard project? I think if that's the case you're limited to 175° maximum or 125° for 16:9 projects. More info here: Add 360° clips to standard projects in Final Cut Pro for Mac - Apple Support

If this is a 360° project you need to make sure you've tagged and imported the footage correctly.

Reading through it doesn't seem like it's possible (or necessary?) to adjust the FOV for export. But I have very limited 360° project experience. It's turning up more and more though it seems.
