how can one reset passcode using PC when iphone is on security lock out

I forgot my iphone passcode and I can't access itunes and my cable is kind of faulty. I kind of want to reset my passcode and use the new one to unlock my iphone? What should I do?

hey. i forgot the passcode of my old iphone. how can i reset it ? i have security lockout displaid. I have a new iphone since june and i forgot the passcode of my old one. can you please help me reactivate it. thanks in advance.
