My home pod speakers, set up as a stereo pair, are not working properly. I want to re install and reconfigure them. But when I try to delete the Home app from my iPhone it says I have to remove devices attached to it. I can't remove the devices because I can't get the Home app to work.

Have you tried force closing the Home app. Sometimes this will resolve problems without having to delete the app.

If that does not work, you can remove devices signed in with your Apple ID without using the Home App, You should now be able to delete the Home app.
