After Adobe (Encore CS6) and Apple (iDVD) decided not to update their DVD and Blue Ray authoring software, I would like to know if anyone has developed an “Authoring software system” using Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
I think that Encore or iDVD must be updated for compatibility with recent operating systems. I waiting for your solutions, suggestions and comments. Thanks. By. GM

Final Cut Pro can do BluRay. Here is some documentation -> DVD and Blu-ray / AVCHD destinations in Final Cut Pro for Mac - Apple Support
Roxio Toast Titanium can also do BluRay with its High-Def/BluRay plugin.
You will, of course, also need a BluRay burner.
There is no reason to expect Encore CS6 or iDVD to ever be updated/upgraded past their final release. Both vendors announced end-of-life for those apps years ago. And since they were 32-bit apps, they will not run on any Mac with macOS Catalina or later.
I suggest posting your question about DVD/BluRay authoring apps in the Final Cut Pro forum. Users there can tell you what FCP can do and if there are any extensions/plugins for DVD/BluRay authoring in the same sense that iDVD or DVD Studio Pro were authoring apps.

I think that Encore CS6 and iDVD were very well made software. I would like them to be updated so I can use them again. Alternatively, I would like to know if it was possible to create similar effects with Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. Yes, I already have a blu Ray burner.
