Advice on video calls

It's been a while since I last participated in a video call. I don't recall which software we used. Tomorrow I plan to initiate a video call with a small group of family members. I use all Apple devices: MacBook Pro 14", macOS 14.1; iPhone 13 Pro Max; iPad. I should mention that I can also use Windows 11 with Parallels Desktop.

None of the people who will be on the call use iOS, iPadOS, or macOS devices. So I'm thinking the best software to use might be Zoom in Windows 11. I've read that I can initiate a call in FaceTime and invite Android users. However, I'd like to hear from anyone here who has experience with video calls that involve Apple and Android devices.
