Is there a way to use an external monitor during Boot Camp's Windows installation phase?

I have a 2020 Macbook, one of the last with an Intel chip, and have used it with Boot Camp to dual boot into Windows 10. After a full format of the drive, I'm looking to reinstall Windows, with one extra challenge... the laptop's display is busted.

It will cost me $700 to fix, via Apple or a third party, so I'm resigned to using it with an external display for now. This works fine, I'm using an LG 5k attached via a Thunderbolt cable.

I can start the Boot Camp assistant without issue. I located the Win 10 ISO, partitioned my drive, and then it resets. Unfortunately, from here, the secondary display turns off and I have no way of seeing what I assume are the installation prompts. Is there a way to have it display on the external monitor, so I can finish the installation?
