Strange names for desktop icons

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me why my Macintosh Drive and desktop files and folders now have strange names like the attached screenshot? I have restarted several times but the names remain the same.

I'm worried it might have been a security breach. Anyone heard of this? Please help!

Every time I put these icons in the "Others" folder, they keep getting out of it! Hi! By some odd reason the icons that are in this picture (except Unetbootin) they just keep getting out of the "Others" folder every time I put them inside it, after I restart my mac, it happens again! can someone help me with this annoying issue? I hate when my Icons are not organised in folders.

FIle "Icon?" are everywhere in my MacBook directories Hi, Recently, I started seeing a file "Icon?" in all directories of my MacBook. I have used the below command to delete this multiple times. However, it keeps appearing again, and again. Does anyone know anything about this? How do we delete these permanently? find ~/Documents -type f -name 'Icon?' -print -delete

Verify the Hard Drive's Name:

Go to: Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility
What do you see for the name of your hard drive?
