Airdrop Insufficient storage error-Large Groups

I am trying to receive a large group of pictures/videos via AirDrop. When all of these are put together to be airdropped, I get an error that there is insufficient storage on my phone. When the pics are sent in smaller groups, I can receive them no problem.

I have a 256gb iPhone 13 max pro with 147gb of free space on the phone and I also have 1TB of iCloud space.

How can I fix this? Tried restarting phone doesn’t work.
