Has anyone experienced any iMovie Sharing/Export issues? Since upgrading to OS 14.1, any finished projects won't export. After selecting Share and the type of Share, the expected dialog box never appears. I submitted a bug report. Thanks!

Several people on this forum have reported sharing failure with Sonoma. It is something that Apple will need to address. You might consider calling Apple Support and discussing the issue with them to see if they have a fix in the works.
Meanwhile, one poster here did a workaround by importing his clips into iPad iMovie and exporting from there.

One poster reported that sharing was possible by opening iMovie in the Mac's Guest Account. That goes along the lines of what you said.

If you go to a totally clean account with nothing running except iMovie (10.3.10 with OS 14.1) then you can share OK.
I do wonder what the beta testers do, because this is pretty fundamental for iMovie!
I have to backtrack a bit. On further investigation I see I can share if I have a simple clip - e.g. a title clip, but a three minute movie of 50 snapshots and a bit of music puts me back with no sharing, even in a clean account. Back to the old laptop then...
And the remake with the old laptop (Yosemite + iMovie 10.1) worked just fine. Oh well ...
