Home and Lock Screen and battery usage

Home and Lock Screen continues to take up 80%+ of iPhone battery is a 24 hour period. None of the tips to address this issue offered by Apple or on the internet seems to help with my device (iPhone 11 running IOS 17.1). The only way I can get a full 24 hours without having to recharge the battery is to turn off Passcode (and I don't have Face ID enabled). I would like to turn Passcode back on but I'd like to use my iPhone for a full day without having to recharge (my maximum battery capacity is 85%). Is there anything I can do to get Home and Lock Screen to use less battery?
