iPhone 12 can’t find Epson WF2850 air printer

My iPhone 12 cannot find an air printer that my wife’s iPhone 11 and my MacBook can. Rebooted everything. All on same Wi-Fi. Anyone have ideas?

Hi,

An Epson WF-2850 is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support. This means that the model in question should be compatible with iOS, provided that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Check that you have the latest iOS version (update).

If there is a problem with AirPrint device discovery, (again) try a full power-cycle sequence in this order (including the router): Power off the Wi-Fi router, the Epson printer, the iPhone, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the Epson printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPhone. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.

Also, check that you have the latest printer firmware.

If necessary, a special app is provided by Epson.
