Different countries have different laws with respect to Warranties. As a result the warranty is country specific. If you buy your Apple Watch in the U.S., then your warranty is ONLY valid in the U.S.

NOTE: You Apple Watch may work just fine in India. But if it breaks you will have to bring it back to the U.S. for warranty repair, or pay for the repair out of your own pocket. Apple Care would also be country specific.

FWIW, not with series 9 and Ultra 2. Only China has different models now.

Still a terrible idea though, not even any standard warranty or repair service.
