Song removed

A song was removed from Apple Music, however, the genre and artist remain. What steps can I take to try to get the song back?

Sometimes songs are removed from the Apple Music catalog by the rights holders. When this happens the song in question will stop working in your library even if you have a downloaded copy. The only solution here is to obtain a new copy from another source.

Alternatively, if you have a track in library with the iCloud Status of Removed, this can happen when you delete a track from your iCloud Music Library on say a mobile device, but it is downloaded to iTunes or Apple Music on a computer. In this case you can right-click on the track and use Add to Library to add it back into your cloud library and make it available across your devices.
