On windows I can right click on any music file or hit the alt+ to bring up the file properties. Why can’t I do this on my iPad ?

I do understand. You seem to not understand how the iPad works. You are trying to access properties on an iPad for a file you can do nothing with there.

There is no way to access the file properties of the Music tracks in the Music app.

If you have the music stored in iCloud Drive as individual files, then you can access the file properties through the Files App, by holding down on a file until the menu pops up, and tapping on "Get Info".

Again, if you want help, explaining what you want to accomplish as all related details is a good way to start.

Because it would be entirely meaningless. You cannot directly access the music files in the iPad's Music app, or do anything with them besides playing them, so what would be thew point of showing properties of something you cannot do anything with.

Why do you need to see the properties of a music file anyway? The files are locked in the Music App, and cannot be extracted, renamed or altered in any way.
